The piece is constructed from fine quality mahogany timber in a warm brown colour with a natural grain finish and visible patina. The large oval tabletop has two drop leaves supported by a frame with cabriole legs terminating in carved ball and claw feet. The dimensions are 73 cm high, 164 cm wide, and 122 cm deep.
