This beautiful pair of French white onyx and gilt bronze vases feature an ornate scroll shaped handles on each side and a central band with cherub faces on either side. During the 19th century, French craftsmen frequently combined carved natural stone, such as white or green onyx, with mercury-gilded bronze mounts (ormolu).
