Description

A practical early 20th-century adjustable pine reading table or lectern. The top can be raised, lowered, or tilted as required and includes a shaped book lip to secure books when angled.

Unpretentious and functional, this is a piece designed for use rather than display alone. Suitable as a reading stand, sheet-music table, or informal occasional table, with a slightly rustic character typical of utilitarian pine furniture of the period.
