A very rare pair of finely figured mahogany marble top Country House console tables. This impressive pair are of exceptional quality, tall proportions and finely hand carved with rich patination and grain. The fabulous, moulded Grigio grey serpentine marble top of demilune form is raised over an elegantly simple frieze, above a striking, singular female figural sculptural support to the fore depicting a classical caryatid bearing a beautiful bouquet of flowers, stunningly hand carved in high relief. The shaped panelled back to the rear is fitted with a gorgeous pair of mirror glass plates of oval form, flanked with scroll and foliate motif detail, supported on serpentine undertier shelf, terminating on decorative scroll, foliate and acanthus leaf motif foot.
