A late 19thC French ormolu photo frame c1880. A pretty oblong ormolu glazed frame adorned with finely defined harebell garlands and rosettes. It has an inner oval ormolu frame with very fine gadrooning and a bevelled inner edge. The back has a hinged easel, which enables the angle of the frame to be adjusted. One of the easel arms is slightly bent but it makes no difference to the support of the frame.
