Three Framed Early Needleworks

A fine and decorative group of three fragments of early eighteenth century needlework. The embroidery is beautifully worked on linen, in silk and gold and silver threads. The three panels are all floral in design with the largest having a beautiful metallic fringe. The fragmentary panels are all in excellent condition with no holes and with bright fresh colours. The group have been recently framed as a set with matching mounts and frames. The set have a great decorative appeal with a wonderful period look and are ready to hang. C.1720
