A dated may1827 sampler on linen in a light oak frame by mary scott.of dryclough lee.

This undamaged and bright sampler is a good example and has a couple of quirks. The alphabet is missing a few letters .loads of trees peacocks , candlesticks etc.

We purchased it in scotland but havent a clue where the place is.

It measures 35cms w 46cms h

Reframed in scotland .
