The tapering circular basin displays detailed floral and anthemion marquetry beneath an openwork brass gallery rail, resting on curved cabriole legs embellished with ornate cast mounts at the shoulders. A central turned finial rises from a small circular stretcher shelf connecting the lower legs, while the interior houses a removable zinc liner.
