Vintage French Style Demi Lune Console Table | Raised Gallery

Vintage 20th century French Louis XV style demi lune console table, a richly carved and elegant piece, showcasing a wealth of carved detail throughout.

The half-moon top has a carved gadrooned edge and is backed by a shaped and pierced gallery, carved with scrolls and a central ribbon-tied flowerhead.

The shaped frieze is carved with shells and acanthus leaves, and the table stands on three graceful cabriole legs with scrolled knees and scroll feet.

The hardwood displays a fine grain and a warm, rich mahogany colour with a pleasing polished finish.

Presented in good condition. A very desirable console table, perfect for a hallway, landing or living room, where it sits neatly against the wall.
