A beautiful mid 17th century oak figure of a draped lady. Most likely a caryatid giving support to an overhanging, tall piece of furniture or possibly an altar. The left hand and stick is missing and we have decided to leave it unrestored. Obviously the plinth and electrics are a recent conversion but actually adds to it''s appeal. Generally in super condition unusual for the nose to survive. A more raised shade would be better but I think you get the idea.
