Description

A very large and smart inkwell, most unusual dating to the late Art Nouveau period into the Art Deco era, around 1915 / 1925.

The hefty piece of crystal is simply and very elegantly cut and polished. The collar and hinged head of a chick are made from cast Bronze and lavishly gilded, all with the original finish. Lovely detail and beautifully executed and retaining two lovely glass eyes.

Excellent undamaged condition measuring 3 3/4" x 2 5/8" x 4 1/2" tall.
