ActFurniture LTD has dated this Oak Trestle Coffee Table to the 1920s.
It bears the original G.T. Rackstraw Ltd Worcester maker's plaque, a well-known name in modern and period furniture.
The rectangular plank top with a moulded edge sits on a pair of shaped, lyre-form trestle ends with scrolled outlines and shaped brackets beneath the top, joined by a long central stretcher.
The oak displays a lovely figured grain, with a lighter honey-coloured top contrasting with the rich dark tone of the base.
Presented in good condition with honest signs of age to the top. A very desirable vintage coffee table, the perfect addition to any living room.
