Description

A 19th century walnut duet music stand, English, with carved lyres within a frame to support sheet music on both sides. The height is adjustable by turning knob on the brass pole giving maximum height of 156cm and minimum 118, and supports are adjustable on ratchets. The pedestal is well carved as is the tripod base with down swept legs terminating in scrolling feet. A versatile piece that could be used for portfolios, books or recipes as well as sheet music!
