Fine Victorian three fold mahogany dressing screen dating from circa 1885

Three painted panels depicting elegant classical female figures in garden settings

The paintings have something of the Pre-Raphaelite look to them which was prevalent at that time with the rich colours Central figure shown playing a stringed instrument accompanied by a cherub

Flanking figures depicted with flowers, theatrical mask and tambourine

Decorative pierced mahogany crests and turned finials to each panel

Reverse upholstered in decorative golden fabric

Hinged construction allows the screen to be folded and positioned as required

Wonderful decorative room divider or dressing screen Circa 1885
