A superb George III period figured mahogany snap top tripod table with a wonderful original colour and patina c.1760. The single piece figured timber top with turned lip to the edge, sat over an elegant pedestal with rope twist design knot to the lower half. Matching figured timber tripod foot to the base, the surface folding with an original snap action release catch into the upright position. Original hand forged securing strap to the underside.
