1930s Oak refectory dining table

This high-quality oak refectory table would have been made in the 1930s in a high-end cabinetmakers workshop, probably i the Ipswich area.

The thick 3cm solid planked top has toned to a wonderful golden honey colour.

The refectory stands on a pair of carved oak bulbous supports, that are joined by a straight stretcher.

The design is taken from an Elizabethan design, using the fine carving design.

These tables are so good for a working kitchen and can be used with a young family with all the wear it takes.
