Antique Oak Square Tripod Table

A good 19th century oak square top tripod table, raised on a turned pillar support with three shaped cabriole legs. The rectangular tilt top shows good figuring to the grain and retains a nice mellow country patina. The table features a traditional tilt-top mechanism allowing the top to be stored upright when not in use, making it a practical and versatile occasional or lamp table. A good honest country piece with plenty of character.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition with age-related wear. There are marks and wear to the surface consistent with use. There are some signs of historic woodworm to the leg brackets (as photographed), though this is long gone and has been treated as a precaution. Structurally solid and sound overall.
