Peter Harris Clocks & Militaria has dated this Flintlock Pocket Pistol to the 18th Century.
The pistol is fitted with a turn-off steel cannon barrel retaining London proof marks at the breech and a distinctive star-shaped muzzle, as typically encountered on pocket pistols of this type.

The action incorporates its correct folding concealed trigger and sliding top safety. The engraved cock, brass pan, and frizzen remain present, with a walnut bag-shaped grip typical of London pocket pistols of the period.
