Fine Historic Antique Oak Console / Side / Hall Table, C 1920

Description

An interesting and also very usable oak console table, dating to around 1920.

In lovely original condition, retaining it's original polished finish, which has lovely depth and colour.

Top rail is carved with a memorial which reads "Pray for John Arthur Newson formerly assistant priest of this church who died on active service in Normandy trying to save others on July 20th 1944".

Slightly historic movement to one end of the table top and two small ink stains, other than that the table is in very good order.

Sizes 72" 183 cm long (table top). Width 12" 30 cm (table top). Height 32". 81cm Depth at base 18" 46 cm.
