Red Brazilian Tanagers in Glass Dome (Ramphocelus Bresilius) Circa 1880-1899

Description

This is a fabulous tall glass dome display of a group of four full mount adult male Brazilian Tanagers (Ramphocelus bresilius) dating from around 1890. The vivid red birds are beautifully showcased upon twisting dry branches amidst natural dry grasses all enclosed beneath a period glass dome and later ebonised circular base.

The display is most dramatic with specimen all in excellent condition.

This is a bold tall display dome measuring 54 cms in height with the base being 20.5 cms in diameter.

UK hand delivery can be arranged using our experienced furniture courier who quotes £55 plus vat to most destinations.
