Antique Mahogany Towel Rail/clothes Stand

A fine antique mahogany towel rail of elegant proportion featuring three turned hanging bars supported by shaped uprights with carved scroll and shell motifs to the top. The splayed feet are neatly shaped and well-balanced offering both stability and grace.

The warm patina of the solid mahogany has developed a rich tone over time enhancing the piece’s character and authenticity. Simple yet refined, this stand exemplifies 19th-century English craftsmanship ideal for use in a period bathroom, dressing room, or guest bedroom.

A functional and decorative example of Victorian domestic furniture, combining utility with understated elegance.
