Set of Four Antique English Stained Glass Panels – Birds and Flowers
Circa 1890–1915
A decorative set of four antique stained glass window panels, English in origin, dating from the late Victorian to early Edwardian period. Each rectangular panel is leaded throughout and features a central hand-painted and kiln-fired roundel—two depicting songbirds perched among blossom, and two with floral sprays.
Surrounding each roundel is a richly coloured geometric border in textured cathedral glass, in tones of amber, rose, celadon, and turquoise, typical of the Arts & Crafts and Aesthetic movements.
Measurements:
Each panel: 69 cm wide × 33 cm high
Condition:
Good antique condition with some light wear and small imperfections consistent with age. The painted roundels are well preserved, and the glass retains good colour and clarity. Original leadwork to the whole.
A fine decorative set, ideal for period restoration projects or interior feature display.
