Rare Manx Adjustable Candlestand

Rare mid 19th century Manx (Isle of Man) adjustable mahogany candlestand. Shaped column with typical Isle of Man shaped legs. The round top with lovely original brass banded edge with a central round dish top adjustable candle stand section. The mechanism is operated via a brass pull on the stem of the table. The whole piece is in very good condition and is a nice colour with waxed finish.
 
SIZE; 15'' diameter top. 28'' high when closed up.
 
CIRCA; 1830 - 1850
