Description

An unusual heavy and deep early 19th century frame of rectangular form. This has its original gilding showing through, beneath a later characterful over painted surface giving a nice antique appearance.

Charming frame, nice look, good quality Circa 1830.

The frame measures 50 cms by 33 cms by 6 deep overall .

The aperture is 35 x 18

The rebate at the back for the painting is 36.5 x 19.5 cms.
