This is a Victorian picture frame dating from around 1890, created in an Art Nouveau style. The piece is constructed from wood and composition, finished in a metallic gold colour with applied gold leaf. The frame displays relief moulding, stylised foliage motifs, and an outer bead border along the edges of the gilded surface.
