Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Produced during the Georgian and Regency periods, Derby porcelain figural groups feature narrative or allegorical scenes, characterized by hand-painted enamel details, rich gilding, and intricate molded bases influenced by classical and rococo styles.

These items were crafted using soft-paste porcelain poured into plaster molds, fired, and subsequently decorated by hand with overglaze enamel pigments and gold leaf accents before a final low-temperature firing.

Authentic pieces frequently show incised model numbers or factory marks on the underside, such as the crown and crossed batons, along with characteristic patch marks from the kiln supports and elaborate scrollwork bases.

These decorative objects work well when integrated into modern shelving displays, arranged inside a glass-fronted cabinet, or positioned as a focal point on a mantelpiece alongside understated contemporary ceramics.

Dust gently using a soft, dry camel-hair brush, avoiding water immersion or chemical cleaners which can degrade delicate hand-painted enamel detail and fragile gilding.
