A Substantial Centre Table of the Early Victorian Period
Of circular form, constructed in walnut, the base with tripartite legs of addorsed carved scroll form, the platform with small finials: The top, having a tilt action, is in marquetry walnut, with the centre panel having soft geometric flower forms, and the outer reserve band having tightly cut floral decoration. The rim having an ebonised thumb nail moulding, with an egg and dart band below.
