We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Edwardian metalware, produced between 1901 and 1910, frequently incorporates revivalist motifs, neoclassical symmetry, and decorative embellishments such as embossed rims or lion mask mounts.

These decorative vessels were traditionally crafted from metals such as copper, brass, and pewter, often utilising hand-beating, spinning, or casting techniques for components like bases and handles.

Authentic pieces typically exhibit period-appropriate manufacturing methods, such as brazed seams, natural verdigris or patina accumulation, and weight consistent with heavy-gauge sheet copper.

An antique copper vessel functions well as a contrasting metallic accent when paired with neutral modern surfaces, or utilised practically as a planter or table centrepiece.

Preservation involves dusting with a soft cloth and avoiding harsh chemical abrasives that strip the aged patina, applying microcrystalline wax if stabilisation of the surface is required.
