This substantial Malacca caned sword stick has a carved hardwood dogs head for a handle, with a silver plated belt buckle collar and is engraved for a ''J Pollard''.
The blade has a triangular profile with a strong bladed edge, the stick ends with a brass ferrule.
It is in excellent condition and dates to the end of the 19th Century.
