Good Quality Continental Torchere

This Good Quality Continental Torchere is both very refined and well-drawn. The central column is delightfully moulded and finely carved. The legs benefit from their carved decoration that helps to elevate the piece.
 
The secondary solid base adds stability to the piece, helped by the good weight to it also.
 
Showing patination and signs of wear as to be expected, with the timber possessing a glorious mellow hue making this torchere an extremely charming piece of furniture.
 
There is an inventory mark to the underside as can be seen in the picture.
