M Lees and Sons has dated this Grand Tour Bronze Tazza to the 1850s.
. The twin scrolled handles with Bacchus mask detail to base terminal , the interior terminal with a goddess caryatid with outstretched arms . The scrolling handles cast with leaf design and binding detail .

The body cast with trailing vine and grape relief decoration , the edge of the bowl with leaf cast decoration .
The interior probably originally fitted with a liner , now lacking.
Highly decorative bronze centrepiece of good scale and classical inspiration taking its form from an ancient vessel which was probably designed for wine and ritual celebration purposes.
