Ritas Bazaar has dated these Royal Worcester Porcelain Figurines to the 1940s.

Royal Worcester's Patent Metallic colours combine burnished gold with bronze-green and pinkish-brown tones, while the faces and hands retain their smooth matte ivory finish with delicate hand-tinted details. The bases bear the black printed Royal Worcester crown mark with "Royal Worcester", reduced-size "Bone China", "Made in England" and the shape number 1803. The mark dates from 1944–1955; without the separate V/W annual code introduced in 1949, these figures date to 1944–1948. With vibrant gilding and no signs of restoration, the pair remains an exceptional acquisition for any serious collector of fine English porcelain.

Dimensions: Strephon — weight 206 g; height 15.8 cm; width 8 cm; depth 8.5 cm. Phyllis — weight 225 g; height 16 cm; width 7.7 cm; depth 7.8 cm.
Condition: Both figures are in excellent condition, virtually as new. Each has an original factory vent hole below the collar on the reverse and a corresponding vent hole on the underside beside the factory mark; these are manufacturing features, not damage. The gilding and painted decoration are particularly well preserved.
