Pair of Victorian Hand Painted Porcelain Plaques

A pair of small Victorian hand painted porcelain plaques depicting complementing Continental lake scenes and sat in the original matching gilt frames c.1885. Each porcelain plaque painted with superb detail, one with a castle sat above a lake with the mountains on the horizon, the other plaque with houses on the lake side and a church on an island in the lake. Both with superb mellow colours and a restful feel. The plaques sat in the original timber gilt frames with rope twist design decoration and patinated gilt finish. Old paper covered backs with secure fittings for wall hanging. Both works presented in immaculate perfect condition. Keep up to date via our Instagram channel - sturmansantiques.

EUROPE AND WORLDWIDE

Through our trusted international shippers we will source the most competitive quote for delivery to your door. All items are wrapped and packed by the specialist shippers.

We are happy to make initial arrangements for worldwide shipments on your behalf. However, please note that the shipping payment is made by you the customer directly with the shippers. Please be aware that it is the customers responsibility to check with the shipping agent and/or relevant customs office regarding any import duties that may be due.
