English 19th Century Antique Mahogany Library Steps

A beautiful quality set of English early 19th century antique library steps that stand on gun barrel turned legs with matching uprights and stretchers. In excellent strong condition, each of the three steps have a wide single piece mahogany boards which are all strong. The antique mahogany is a lovely rich and original colour. The library steps have tapering back uprights, this is for extra stability. Designed to be used to access higher shelves on a bookcase, but would look great as a bedside table too.
