A rosewood and Tunbridgeware folding bookstand of good proportions, c.1860.

The fine fretwork gallery surrounds a tunbridgeware base, the underside lined with its original marbled paper. The back gallery lifts out and the side galleries fold down for transportation when travelling.

Light signs of wear commensurate with age but generally in a very good condition indeed.
