A very decorative and interesting Aesthetic Movement oak pedestal incorporating tiles. The pedestal is made of solid oak and each side is fitted with three tiles, all printed, mainly with birds but one side has children. The whole is in very good condition but did probably originally have a marble inset top which is lacking. A unique and very decorative piece from the Aesthetic Movement period.
