Description

An oval Georgian mahogany tray

A single fine and well figured board with a border of applied raised gallery laminated in three layers to form the oval. All of good original colour and patination. A tray with a baseboard made of a single board, rather than multiple boards, is a sign of the best quality. The base with baise lining to the edge to prevent scratching to a polished table top.
