This fine example of rare Chinese silk embroidery from around 1890 features a framed cattle scene. Crafted with high-quality silkwork mounted on board, it depicts cattle drinking in a shallow pool with junk sails sailing in the background against a mountainous landscape. The top of the picture shows some damage; see photos. Despite this, it remains a stunning and rare piece displayed in a beautiful oak frame.
