A pair of Victorian antique brass door porters, also known as doorstops. Excellent condition. Dated 19th century, Victorian, English antique.
 
This elegant design is likely crafted by William Tonks and Sons who supplied brassware to Liberty London between 1852 and 1889.
 
These porters feature a weighted base; which has a stepped bell shape with decorative scrollwork detailing to the mould; a slender column; and a looped handle for easy movement.
 
English, circa 1885.
 
Priced to sell as a pair or £250 for a single door stop.
