Description

A good quality Staunton pattern chess set dating from the early to mid 20th Century. The wooden pieces are turned and carved from ebony and boxwood with weighted bases and green felt coverings on the base. The set comes in a stained wooden box with a sliding lid.

The whole set is in good condition and displays well. There are some minor signs of age and use and some light surface marks but no major damages and it is certainly very usable. The box is in good order and is strong and sturdy.

Approximate Measurements (king) :

Height : 3 3/4" / 9.5cm

Base Diameter : 1 1/2” / 4cm
