Read as an allegory of Love and Destiny, this refined composition belongs to the late-rococo taste still favoured in Thuringia at the time. The group shows clean, lively modelling, careful hand enamelling and neat gilt accents. Features include a rococo scroll base with grassy patches, a draped side table with teapot, and a woven basket of flowers. This is a well-preserved cabinet piece from Rudolstadt production with an exact factory date — attractive to collectors seeking documented examples from the period. Marks: underglaze blue crown-over-AV factory mark of Oldest Volkstedt (1915); impressed 34 to the underside (model).
