An exceptional pair of large-scale porcelain figures from the late 18th century, distinguished by their refined modelling, fine hand painting, and historical rarity. Each figure stands nearly 40 cm tall and exhibits remarkable sculptural quality, particularly in the expressive faces, detailed drapery, and naturalistic posture. The original factory mark was deliberately removed - likely due to export restrictions or commercial strategy — and replaced with an underglaze blue sign that is not associated with any documented manufactory. The mark does not appear in standard references such as Röntgen or Berling, and its application suggests intentional masking.
