A Very Good Quality George III Period Mahogany Box Cellarette Having Cavetto Mould To Hinged Top, Enclosing Divided Interior, With Fantastic Shell Cast Original Brass Handles To Sides, Raised On Elegant Ring Turned Legs With Original Brass Castors. A very good quality little piece of english georgian furniture which would have started its life as a cellarette for the storage of wine. It is of very elegant design and constructed from good quality timber which along with the exceptional brass handles suggest it would have been constructed in on of the top workshops of the time.
