A most rare and unusual pair of large Italian jardiniers in carved walnut ,supported by figures with gilt and lacquer decoration .They are in wonderful original condition with no damage or repairs , they have simply been cleaned and waxed . The liners are original and wonderful condition , just cleaned .It is rare to find such figures still as a pair and in such excellent original condition .Don has been dealing in Meiji period art for 60 years , exhibiting in London , New York , Baltimore , Miami and Shanghai.
