The George III period spanned from 1760 to 1820, characterised by a refined synthesis of Palladian, neoclassical, and later Regency influences, often utilising high-quality timbers such as mahogany.

These items were predominantly constructed from dense hardwoods like mahogany or oak, featuring hand-turned wooden screws and dovetailed or joined framing designed to withstand significant mechanical pressure.

Authentic pieces exhibit period-appropriate joinery, hand-cut threaded wooden screws with irregular pitch, natural patina, and timber characteristics consistent with eighteenth- or early nineteenth-century stock.

It can be displayed on an office desk, console table, or bookshelf as a sculptural object that highlights historical craftsmanship and adds intellectual character to a room.

Maintain stable indoor humidity levels away from direct heat sources, apply microcrystalline wax periodically to nourish the wood, and avoid over-tightening the wooden screw mechanism.
