Description

A very fine pair of English 17thc oak carvings, probably from an early coffer, wonderful carving and punchwork detail, with flowers, leaves and buds....the flowers look like tulips, quite a common theme at that time, as there were a lot of Dutch craftsmen over in England sharing their expertise in metalwork, joinery and many other skills....excellent colour and condition.
