A beautiful antique desktop inkstand dating from the late 19th Century. It is made of oak and embellished with ornate brass studded mounts and it has a brass carrying handle. It has two large glass inkwells with brass collars and hinged lids.
It is in very good condition and although it has been used it has been well looked after over the years. There are some minor signs of age and use, a few small knocks and marks but nothing detrimental. The inkwells are in very good condition with no major damages.
