Victorian Coromandel Book Slide

A beautiful Victorian book slide made of coromandel wood with ornate brass and bone mounted decoration with brass studded detail. It is a good quality piece and is well made with brass edging around the base.
 
It is in good condition for its age and displays beautifully. The hinges are strong and each end slides smoothly. There are of course signs of age and use, some knocks and surface marks and a couple of old repairs but nothing detrimental and no major damages.
