An absolutely exquisite antique French inlaid bureau plat desk. This was made in France, it dates from around the 1880-1890 period.It is one of the finest examples we�ve ever come across, it has an elegant and stylish design with some of the most fantastic inlaid patterns. The top is profusely inlaid with various woods, there is marquetry around the edges and parquetry in the centre. There is further beautiful inlaid marquetry work around the edges, and extremely high quality ormolu mounts.
