This is an antique newspaper rack. A French, brass, copper and walnut two-segment magazine stand, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

A pleasingly intricate and skilfully executed tabletop newspaper stand

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order

Brass rails present serpentine forms and tasteful golden hues

Supported upon a walnut base, with rich caramel hues and fine figuring

Tall central arched handle hosts a fine wire divider between the pair of segments

Outer segment accentuated with machine turned copper plates
